Their Love Story
Several years ago, Valentina was a wedding photographer based in the states & she booked a wedding in England. Low and behold, she fell in love with one of the groomsmen. Now they live together in the UK and decided what better place to elope than right in the Scottish Highlands? We went back & forth on locations between Fairy Glen and Fairy Pools and came to the conclusion – why not both? We decided that the couple would elope at Fairy Glen and then the following day, we would meet for a couples sunrise session out at Fairy Pools.
Elopement in the Scottish Highlands
We met two hours before sunset at the famous Fairy Glen, a popular destination for some of the most beautiful views. After quickly changing into their wedding attire in the parking lot we ventured out to explore and take photos along the way. Once we arrived, the area was filled with sheep & people, but it was large enough that it still felt very private and intimate as long as you are patient. On our way there we took photos amongst the hills and on a trail near a pond.

Valentina & Daniel tied the knot on a beautiful rocky structure that had a gorgeous view overlooking The Highlands right at sunset! It was a picture-perfect spot for them to share their vows and commit to loving each other forever.

Couples Session at the Fairy Pools
The following morning we met at sunrise and ventured out on a short 1.5 mile walk along the Fairy Pools. It was chilly, windy, and foggy, but it gave us the most gorgeous lighting for a stunning couples session amongst the waterfalls before the area got too busy with other fellow visitors.
