Romantic Summer Engagement Session at Riding River Ranch

I had the pleasure of capturing a romantic summer engagement session for high school sweethearts and San Antonio natives, Fallon and Albert! It was such a joy to capture their love in a place that means so much to them. I love when couple choose a place that has meaning for them for their engagement sessions because it is a place they can keep going back to and remember all the beautiful memories they have created and the moments they have shared!!

Beautiful Summer Engagement Session

When Fallon and Albert decided to take the next step in their relationship, they knew exactly where they wanted to host their engagement session! The gorgeous Leakey, TX. But there was a caveat; they needed a photographer willing to make the journey to this little gem of a town, located just over 2-hours from New Braunfels, TX. And guess what? I was more than up for the adventure! As I arrived, I was instantly amazed. Though there isn't cell service for miles, this small town makes up for it with its undeniable beauty.

The engagement session took place at Riding River Ranch, owned by Fallon's grandmother! This local vacation spot hosts families and friends for the summer season at the Frio River. It's even been the backdrop of weddings! And, excitingly, it is here where Fallon and Albert built an official venue where they were the first couple to officially tie the knot! How cool is that?! We explored the property in Fallon's hot pink jeep, capturing their amazing engagement photos. Everywhere you went, there was a different backdrop that gave their gallery such a wide variety. We had canyon-facing backdrops, river views, tall trees and grass, and low water crossings with large boulders. It truly was a photographer's dream!
