As a photographer, I’ve been lucky enough to witness many love stories and capture them with my camera. But the elegant engagement session I recently shot with Holli and Paden at the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio; TX was truly something special! Holli and Paden have a love story that could be straight out of a movie!! They originally met through a family member of Holli’s who happened to be friends with Paden. Holli was visiting home one weekend, and Holli simply sent a message about a toiletry bag he’d left behind. Little did they know, this simple message would be the start of a full-blown romance! Fast forward to today, and they’re planning to tie the knot next January. How exciting is that?!

For their engagement session, Holli wanted a location that not only had grand architectural elements but was also significant to San Antonio. And what better place than the St. Anthony Hotel? After all, it’s where they’ll be saying their “I do’s” in just a few months. We decided the hotel would be the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. It gave us time to explore the space and brainstorm ideas for the big day. The hotel’s grandeur and elegance, paired with the couple’s radiant love for each other, made every shot a dream!
This session was more than just a photoshoot; it was a chance for me to tap into my creativity. With every click of the camera, I felt like I was capturing a piece of their love story, a story that’s as unique as they are. I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day next year.
