Sarah + Cash | Elegant Western Wedding at The Preserve at Canyon Lake

Elegant Western Wedding Details

Cash slid into Sarah’s DM’s while she was at a George Strait concert out of the “Blue Clear Sky”. Then they had their first date at a Koe Wetzel concert and now they have decided on “Forever”. So at our very first consult, Sarah emphasized that she wanted an elegant western wedding, flowered to the nines! The vision came to life on their wedding day and the summer colors and personal touches did not disappoint. It tied the entire evening together in the most beautiful way.

Letter Exchange on Wedding Day

The bride and groom decided to exchange private letters before they walked down the aisle. Sarah ended hers with the classic George song lyrics, “Do you love me? Do you want to be my friend? I think this is how love goes, check yes or no”. Let me tell you, this hit me right in the feels.

Ceremony at The Preserve at Canyon Lake

The chapel at The Preserve had stunning panoramic windows providing gorgeous natural light for beautiful photos during their wedding. Sarah & Cash exchanged vows with an amazing view overlooking a private lake in the Texas hill country. This moment will be something they remember and cherish for years to come.

Mr. & Mrs. Jacoby

Taking photos of this couple was an easy day’s work. They designed the perfect day from start to finish! In honor of these two, I’ll quote George Strait who said it best. “Tonight I’m the luckiest man in the world, wrapped in the arms of a beautiful girl” — I know this is how Cash felt marrying his love, Sarah.

The Party

One of the highlights of the night was an impromptu moment with the bride. Sarah got behind the DJ booth to serenade her new husband to Luke Comb’s, “Better Together”. Then Cash joined her and they continued to sing along in the sweetest, spontaneous, romantic moment together.

I'm  Lauren - TX Wedding Photographer

I know that finding your wedding photographer can feel weirdly overwhelming. Like a surprise level of Jumanji you absolutely did not sign up for.

Of course style, packages, and location matter. But don’t forget about the person behind the camera.

Because who I am is exactly who shows up on your wedding day. The person helping navigate timelines, emotions, family dynamics, unexpected chaos, and all the tiny moving pieces with calm, care, and intention.

My goal is is always ridiculously simple: help everything run smoothly, make sure you have the best time of your life, and capture you looking damn good while doing it.
